Surface chlorophyll data were collected on June 24, 2026, while the R/V Data Stream was underway collecting nutrient samples in the Providence and Seekonk River Estuaries. The chlorophyll concentrations were categorized as good overall, with no areas exhibiting fair or poor water quality (>10 µg/L and >20 µg/L, respectively). Overall, chlorophyll ranged from 0.24 µg/L to 2.89 µg/L with an average 0.95 µg/L. The chlorophyll concentrations from this date are presented in the map below using Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) interpolation.
