Citizens Advisory Committee

The Narragansett Bay Commission's Citizens Advisory Committee is composed of fifteen members representing municipalities throughout the NBC service area, industrial and residential sewer users, environmental organizations, and concerned members of the general public. This committee advises the NBC Board of Commissioners and staff on matters pertaining to sewer usage fees, sewer construction, industrial pretreatment, public awareness and education, etc., and works hard to develop a cooperative relationship between the NBC and the people it serves.

Meetings are held once a month to discuss the development and implementation of major projects and programs, and CAC members are responsible for distributing this pertinent information to the general public.
